Cardboard boxes are generally referred tp as 'Fefco' type boxes or cardboard constructions with certain fefco codes.
Fefco stands for 'Fédération européenne des fabricants de carton ondulé' and is an international standard for corrugated cardboard constructions introduced by 'The European Union of Corrugated Cardboard Producers' back in 1952.
In short, the code defines which way to turn the flaps of the box, where to place the line for bending, how to close the box, etc., in order to avoid any misunderstanding between the buyer and the producer.
This saves the trouble of having to exchange detailed descriptions and serves to avoid misunderstandings.
Today we are able to manufacture almost all fefco types enabling us to guarantee that we can find a model suitable for your exact needs.
